When did music go from something you loved… to something you had to do?
Honestly, music has always been something I loved; my safe space, my way of expressing things I couldn’t put into regular words. But the shift happened when I realized people were connecting to my pain, my stories, and my vibe. It stopped being just my escape and became my purpose. When I wrote Nobody Cares, I wasn’t just making music for me anymore, I was speaking for everyone who’s ever felt taken advantage of.
Did you grow up around music or did you find it on your own?
I found it on my own. Music wasn’t something that was always around me, but it found me in a way. I discovered how powerful it could be to speak my truth, and I’ve been chasing that connection ever since.
Can you tell us about your journey into music and how you developed your sound?
It became more than just something I listened to, it became a way for me to process my emotions and express myself. My sound and vibe grew from that mix of personal experiences, raw emotions, and a desire to create something authentic. I don’t try to sound like anyone else; I just let my experiences shape my style.
What inspired the creation of your debut single, “Nobody Cares”?
Frustration. It came from a place of feeling overlooked and misunderstood. There are times in life when you feel like no one sees your struggles, that’s the energy behind Nobody Cares. I wanted to turn that pain into something that people could feel and relate to.
What made you say, “Okay, I’m actually going to drop this song”?
Determination. I believed in myself and in the message behind the song. I knew this track wasn’t just for me; it was for anyone who’s ever felt like they were fighting their battles alone. That belief pushed me to release it.
Is this track something you’ve lived — or imagined?”
I’ve lived it. Nobody Cares isn’t just a concept or an idea. Every line in that song comes from my reality, my journey, my struggles, my truth.
What genres or artists felt like home to you when you first started creating?
Burna Boy. His versatility and storytelling inspired me a lot. He showed me that you can stay true to your roots and still push boundaries.
If someone listened to your playlist, which artists would keep popping up?
Definitely Burna Boy. His music has been a major influence on my vibe.
When you made this, was there something you were trying to say — even if no one else caught it?
Nothing complicated, I just wanted to pass a message. I wanted to tell people that even when it feels like nobody cares, you can’t give up on yourself. That’s the core of the song.
If someone pressed play on ‘Nobody Cares’ during a rough day, what do you hope it does for them?
Motivation. I want it to give them the strength to push through whatever they’re facing, to know that they’re not alone in their struggles.
We know how tough it is trying to break into certain spaces as a rising act. What’s been the hardest part of finding your footing in the scene — and how are you pushing through?
Promoting myself hasn’t been easy at all, that’s one of the biggest challenges. But I’m grateful for my drive and the connections I’ve made so far. Nobody Cares is just the beginning. I’ve got more records lined up that I believe will speak even louder.

I’m dropping soon. The grind doesn’t stop.
